Discussion on efficient application strategies of air-source heat pumps under different climatic characteristics

According to the climatic characteristics of different climate zones, several feasible application methods of air-source heat pumps are proposed respectively. Taking the gas boiler plus chiller scheme as the benchmark scheme, a comparative analysis is carried out from four aspects of initial investment, operation energy consumption, operation costs and carbon emissions. The results show that the application of air-source heat pumps in each climate zone has a certain energy saving potential. The higher the efficiency of heat pump, the better the benefits of energy saving, carbon reduction and cost saving. Cooling in hot summer and cold winter zone and cold zone is the main contradiction, so the heat pump applications should focus on the energy efficiency of cooling conditions. With the change of power structure, the emission reduction capability of heat pump application will be gradually improved.
